Upper Atiamuri School, PB4L was already introduced prior to me joining the teaching team. As part of my position at the school, I took on the PB4L Leadership to uplift what was already in place.

I have a team of 3 others, that's the two teachers and one teacher aid. To date, we have worked tirelessly to get a reward system up and going; make sure our school values are well practiced and known by both staff and students; and continue to seek improvements in our initiative.

Since term 4 2020, the number of incidences in the playground have dropped dramatically, and the receipt of our bands as rewards has increased. As of Term 3 2021, we have had 11 students receive their first Bronze badge. We have also started regular communication with our community via our school Community Newsletter which goes out at the end of each term.
